Oregano (common oregano)

Oregano is a flowering plant in the mint family (Lamiaceae). Oregano is related to rosemary and is sometimes called wild rosemary.
Oregano is a culinary herb used for its leaf flavor, which can be more flavorful when dried than fresh. It has an aromatic, warm, and slightly bitter flavor that can vary in intensity.
